"Here, in Lima, we can not lose or tie," Peruvian national team confirmed for the Wednesday, March 31, game against Columbia. Claudio Pizarro (left), "The Bombardier," is one of the best weapons that Peru has for the game.
Peruvian national players said they are following a simple rule for the crucial home match in National Stadium in Lima: "Respect our house."

"This occasion is a great opportunity to re-emphasis our progress," said Marko Ciurlizza (right), Peru's best mid-center player.

Jorge Soto ("The Warrior") explained that on Wednesday, the only valid outcome is a victory.

John Galliquio promised that he will neutralize Colombian star player Juan Pablo Angel. "We are going to concentrate to not  lose an unguarded second," he said.

The game is a key World Cup qualifier. For Peru, the home match is a "must win" battle.
