Alianza Lima celebrates 103rd anniversary

On Feb. 14, the Alianza Lima soccer team celebrated its 103rd anniversary and 2003 national championship with the club president, fans and managers.

At midnight, everybody sang the team's song and congratulated each other.

In the party were players like Viza, Ciurlizza,Waldir Sáenz, Hidalgo y Cruzado and others. Waldir Sáenz said that he hopes to integrate the main team in 2004. "Nobody wants to be substitute, I am waiting for my opportunity and I am sure that I will become as before." he said.

Alianza played a practice game against the team Bolognesi from the Tacna province. The event was important for coach Gustavo Costas because he needs to work on the team that will play against LDU of Quito, Ecuador, in the Liberators cup ("Copa Libertadores") tournament.
